Global 10th

Course Goal

The study of global history is about exploring the various civilizations that came before us so we can understand where we came from. When we understand where we came from, we can use that information to help solve problems, improve technology and better ourselves overall as humans. In our Global Classroom this year, we develop our strategies as teachers to strengthen our ability to teach through a mastery lens. All major Mastery Opportunities challenges will be graded on a rubric given to the students at the beginning of the assessment. You, as historians, are part of this developing practice as well. We will rely on you to advocate for your needs as you move toward mastery in Historical Thinking Skills.
