Geometry
Course Goal
Throughout Geometry students will learn to develop mathematical communication and reasoning skills, as well as, understand the relationships among diverse mathematical concepts. The following areas will be covered: Congruence, Similarity, Right Triangles, and Trigonometry, Expressing Geometric Properties with Equations, Geometric Measurement and Dimensions, Modeling with Geometry and Circles. Students will be expected to not only solve problems, but also show their work and thoroughly explain their reasoning.
