Our partners at Stantec are having a one-day career event on Wed, JULY 26 for high school students interested in careers in architecture and engineering.
The day will introduce students to different career paths in the industry and expose them to the work environment at this top 10 global design firm.
The day will include:
• The opportunity to speak with a panel of engineers and architects about anything from the college application process to the day-to-day life as professionals in the industry.
• Learning sessions from staff representing a variety of disciplines: Architects, Structural Engineers, Civil Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, and Electrical Engineers. Students will also be able to participate in interactive, hands-on activities, which will help reinforce the information.
• Demonstrations featuring current technology used in the field, along with the chance for students to try it themselves.
• Take-home resources geared towards learning about what college looks like for students pursuing a career in the architecture and engineering industry.
• Learning about real life projects that Stantec has completed both in NYC and around the world.
