Living Environment

Course Description
 
This course is a high school-level science course that studies the biology of living organisms and their interactions with their environment. Topics covered in this course include: cell structure and function, genetics, evolution, ecology, and taxonomy. Students will learn about the diversity of life, the process of photosynthesis and respiration, and the interdependence of living organisms. They will also learn about the impact of human activities on the environment and the importance of conservation. Laboratory experiments, field observations, and research projects will be used to help students understand and apply the concepts learned in the class.
