Course Description
 
This course is a high school-level science course that studies the Earth and its place in the universe. Topics covered in the course include: geology, meteorology, oceanography, and astronomy. Students will learn about the Earth's structure and composition, the rock cycle, plate tectonics, and the formation of mountains and ocean basins. They will also learn about the Earth's atmosphere, weather, and climate and study the oceans and their currents. This course will also include a section on Astronomy, where students will learn about the solar system, stars, galaxies, and the universe. Laboratory experiments, field observations, and research projects will be used to help students understand and apply the concepts learned in the class.
