Overview
The main focus of the B.A.S.E. Science Department is to encourage students to approach subjects and problems in a scientific manner. To achieve this, we offer a range of courses that allow students to explore their interests within the field of science. Through these courses, students will gain a strong foundation in scientific concepts and techniques, as well as learn how to think critically and solve problems. Our ultimate goal is to help students develop a love for and a deep understanding of science.
Course Catalog
The science department at the school offers various courses that are designed to provide students with a strong foundation in scientific knowledge and skills. Each course follows a curriculum or set of guidelines that outline the specific topics and concepts that will be covered. In order to facilitate hands-on learning and experimentation, each course is also equipped with a laboratory and classrooms that contain specialized equipment and materials. The science department courses include:
- Living Environment (9th Grade)
- Earth Science (10th Grade)
- Chemistry (11th Grade or 12th Grade)
- Forensic Science (11th Grade or 12th Grade)
